High-quality-materials guarantee a long life period of Mey products. We grant a 5-years-warranty on all metal parts and a 2-years-warranty on bolster, PU and fabrics in case of appropriate use. Normal wearing is excluded.
The certification according to "British Standard" is being carried out under strict guidelines concerning the carrying capacity (150kg) and requires the aptitude for a 24-hours'-use.
Our work chairs, stools and sit-stands are developed and produced according to DIN 68877. From 2010 on, Mey is member of the standards committee. Regulation DIN 68877: This regulation determines all safety related requirements for work-swivel-chairs used in production.
Electro Static Dissipation (ESD)
All our ESD products are tested and certified acc. to DIN EN 61340-5-1. Excerpt of this regulation: " The resistance between all areas of the seating furniture that could contact the human body and the floor will have to be < 10ᴵ° Ohm" Conductive, ergonomically shaped seats and backs made of polyurethane, fabric and imitiation leather coveringss, conductive metal parts as well as conductive castors, gliders and plastics are the significant characteristics of our ESD assortment. For your safety we test each sit-stand individually acc. to the DIN EN 61340-5-1 before delivery and print out a testing protocol. This protocol will be packed with each product.
Many of our products are tested and labelled with the "GS"-label. GS-label = tested safety - TÜVRheinland.
